Our client is a leading practice who enjoy a high design reputation across a wide range of project sectors and scales, both locally and internationally.

They have a newly created role that carries the responsibility of overseeing the facilitation and development of Revit within the group. The focus of the role is to achieve BIM based capability across the organisation that reflects their high design ideals as well as producing technical documentation to the highest of standards.

The opportunity is that it may well suit someone who has reached a "ceiling" with their current firm, with a BIM Manager firmly entrenched above them and further advancement opportunities seemingly a long way off. Or, you may indeed be in the role of BIM Manager with a small to mid sized practice and see the opportunity to step into a large practice environment as an appealing challenge to enhance your career.

This role has the ability to effect real change within a leading national practice!

Having made initial inroads into BIM technology, you will be a key part of the Management of CAD within the practice (both Revit and AutoCAD) and primarily responsible for the ongoing development of BIM protocols, in house training and system capabilities.

Your background will show you have a passion for BIM technologies, a depth of project-based experience within the industry and exceptional people skills to ensure you are seen as the "go to person" within the practice for all Directors and staff.

This role will also require involvement with project documentation, so "hands on" experience documenting well detailed projects will be highly important. Broader software knowledge across Navisworks, 3D Studio Max and SketchUp would also be highly regarded.
