BIM MODEL MANAGER - Architectural Jobs in Sydney, Melbourne & Australia

Our client is a medium sized practice with an enviable reputation in their specialised field and a strong, successful history working with a range of clients across the health, residential care and tertiary education sectors.

This role presents an outstanding opportunity for an experienced BIM Model Manager to set up and manage the Revit building information model across a variety of projects.

The ideal candidate will have an Architectural or Drafting background with a very strong orientation to Revit and a minimum of 5 years local experience on similar scale Revit based projects. Sound knowledge of building, creating and maintaining Revit families is essential, as is a detailed understanding of construction processes, systems and facility detailing.

Responsibilities will include management and distribution of digital documents to the project team; coordinating the BIM for submittals, construction models and schedules; performing audits and coordinating consultant data exchanges of the 3D model and supporting files.

You will be supporting the BIM Manager, Directors, Project Leaders and other project personnel including facility planners and designers; developing standards across projects and mentoring the Revit knowledge base and skills within the group.

In addition, you will be required to assist in the resolution of BIM design issues and preparation of sketch design, modelling, construction documentation and detailing on specific projects as required.

On a personal level, excellent communication skills and a results focused, conscientious and detailed approach is critical. The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines independently or within a team environment are characteristics highly sought by our client.

An inviting salary package of $100,000 is anticipated for the right person who can demonstrate their expertise and potential.
